My Runner is bleeding.

Thats right, red fluid. drip drip drip. As it turns out, not the tranny (thank god) just an innocent power steering hose. Which seems a little strange as it's the pressure side right off the pump and I was expecting more of a spurt. I just have a few drips where ever I park now and I keep it topped off. Dealer says 140 for a new hose and washers. Guess I'm off to check the junk yards. I've never done the banjo bolt thing. Is there any trick to them? Guess I'll find out.

It was also real common for the Power Steering pump rear o-ring and front oil seal to leak. May want to consider doing that as well if it looks like it may be needed.

Just fill it up, then turn the steering wheel from right extent to left extent and back again a few times, keeping the fluid replenished. A helper here is nice, but not necessary.

Well its just in the hose itself. I should be able to replace that OK. I never really trusted the stop leak stuff
