That was me the first time I turned them on lol.. I'm a big HID guy pretty much any car I own or drive on the regular will have to have HID's. For the money you can't go wrong. Thanks because if it wasn't for your post it would have cost me $700 instead of $100.

Thanks everyone she came out so good I decided to buy here some new shoes and tires. I'll be putting some 17" Fj's on her over the wkd.

Sorry to hear about your runner.
we've all had some bad runs of luck.

Could you explain the coolant hose issue for 500 bucks?
Where was the leak coming from.
It sounds like some thing similar to whats going on wit hmy runner.
Thanks , kenny S>

Safari... I bought them on ebay, but the seller who I bought them from no longer has them or sells them under a different ID. There's a bunch of people selling them on ebay. If you search Sig*** user's ID you'll see his post as that's where I got the idea from.

if i remember correctly, it was the corroded rear heater lines- fairly common.

side note, that repair work is top notch! nice to see another 4runner keeping the beat going.

Contratulations! I knew you wouldn't be totalled. I had the same thing happen to me, same color truck even... (but a 97). A girl behind me was on her phone. Its a sickening feeling to look into your rearview mirror and see someone coming at you, and just KNOW you're gonna get clobbered.
Mine got fixed... the body shop let overspray cover the truck, then tried to tell me it was like that when they got it. WOOOO they messed with the wrong person. When I was done with them, the manager of the shop spent an entire day with a clay bar on it.... lamers.

I believe you have the option of enabling the angel eyes. You don't have to wire them up if you don't want to

02Limited was right it comes with angel eyes, but they won't go on if you don't wire them up. Personally I didn't want them so I decided to not hook that part up.

Sharrack sorry again I don't know why the link isn't working, but yes it was my coolant lines that run to the rear heating unit. My truck came from far upstate NY so it does have some rust and one of the lines cracked open.

Jayrod nice job When I was told there was a chance of it being totaled I was pist because I had been searching for a couple of months a lot of places were asking 10k and up for older ones and they were SR5's. I jumped on this one ASAP.
