Sweet setup!! Looks nice with the lift. I hope to put mine on this winter.

That D ring, is that a part off your TJM 15 bumper? Ive seen a couple rigs with those D rings and id love to have a set on my baby.

what it is, its a shackle that you buy serperatly.. like 15 bucks per ring online, I payed a bit more at my local 4x4 shop.. the tow hooks are on your car already. to put the bumper on you have to take the tow hooks off. the left and right bumper mounts go where the tow hooks are and then the tow hooks go back on under the bumper mounts.. then the shackles just go on those hooks. I need to put my left side on right now in a bit.

There's snowboarding down your way?! I feel funny saying that because I moved out to Portland, OR from Boston a few years back and all I heard was the same thing ("Ever heard of Killington"). I guess it's all relative.

I recognize the Ride sticker in your rear window. I own a Timeless myself but am switching to a Palmer Honeycomb this year.

yeah I have three ride boards, the timeless, the no4 and a Cue

back on topic: I have a question about 285s.. I think I have enough lift to fit but however I want to keep my stock wheels and do not want to get ones with less backspacing. can I fit some bfg Kos without rubbing the upper control arm. however I think an MT it would do that and Id need wheel spacers. which I plan on doing anyways. I want the firestone destination MTs but my local shop has some bfg ATs in stock at that size and I dont wheel it too often but want to keep that in the back of my mind.

I had 285 BFG AT's before I got my MT's with stock wheels and I had no rubbing issues at all. I had about the same amount of lift as you. IMO I think the 265's look great on your Runner.

man thats a good looking rig,ive been looking at landruisers but i think i may wait & take over my wifes 97 runner, thinking of leasing her a new one,got a 91 runner with 302,000 miles on the clock-giving it to my son when he starts driving next year, work at a dealer & talked em into putting ARB bumper on a ne FJ,its a lot more fun when your spending someone elses money-again good looking rig

Looks good. So is everything stock up front exept for the spacers? Do you have any weight issues with your front bumper?

weight.. not really.. I took the bumper off to do some bolt tightening and it still had the same rake like it does in the pictures with the bumper. stock shocks and springs up front yes with spacers
