My cargo box is finished (almost)- PICS
#21
No kidding! I almost thought it was a joke, as I just don't make it over here much anymore. At any rate, I no longer own the box. If I were to do it again, I'd built it alot lighter and compact. It's a good project, just think about how you want it to end up, and work towards the picture in your head (that's what I did!).

I know it's been absolutely forever since this thread has seen any action, but do you have the scanned in plans? The ones you made pictures of aren't easy to blow up.
Could you post newer ones? Or atleast scanned in ones? I would appreciate it! I have been looking for something like this forever, and yours looks beautiful! If only you were selling them, and lived in the VA area, I would so go and get it!

Just like was suggested above, find one you like and just make it to look like the picture.
That is how I did mine. I found a guy on this board... and for the life of me I cannot recall who it was at this time.... who had exactly what I wanted then I went to work emulating it as best as I could.
Good Luck!!

Looks like this thread now has new life! Yeah, the guy you used as a template I think was SkyRat. I found his updated thread awhile back. That's what made me start looking! I am hoping to start my own cargo box soon. I carry a lot of stuff and hate not being prepared (the Boy Scout in me). Anybody else got a cargo box that they want to show off?

The box will go under some modifications later to add some slide tracks to the top, then the fridge mount will screw to it.
Then the fridge can be turned with the front facing the rear and I will be able to pull the fridge outside.

I just finished mine this weekend. Here's a thread with more pics https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...eekend+project

And DSN46, that looks alot like Skyrat's design - the same one I copied!
