today i took a trip with my girlfriend out towards palm springs. our original plan was to go do some Christmas shoppin at an outlet near Palm Springs. However, on the way out there, right off the freeway is where my buds and i do a lil wheeling and shootin, so i thought, hey might as well... and my girlfriend wanted to too!

it has been raining here in so cali a lot these past few days so there were HUGE mud puddles... some maybe 20-30 feet long. dont want to get stuck in that.

so the scary part... the dirt road is wide enuf for 2 cars, and there side of the road is raised. so im drivin in the mud, when i hit a REAL slick area. i fall into the ruts there and just SLIIIIIIDDDEEE through. i crank my wheels left to get out, but no luck... then i finally gain traction and i bank right and slide sideways in the mud heading for the raised part of the road. my front end goes up the hill sideways, and now im off camber and my girlfriend is looking down at the ground out the passenger side window. a second goes by... and THUMP... i was on 3 wheels!

that was my little adventure today. ok, imma take it easy thru slick mud next time

oh, got some water in the dist. so i was laggin for a while. :T

OOOH, AND... my digi cam ran out of batteries so i couldnt take any pics! BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:pat:

 

sounds like you had some fun though, nice. i had a little mud experience today too, nothing like yours though.
i was coming up to the end of the trail and to the street, and it was really muddy and wet there. i felt like going a little fast just to spin the tires , throw up some mud- i knew i had to be careful tho. well i went just a tad too fast and i was sliding too much and came within a few inches of hitting a lightpost. good thing i didn't.

the pics don't show it too much, plus the short drive back on freeway took some mud off, but here's a couple muddy pics.
