i was just thinking.... i go mudding when i can, and i went a few weeks ago after the rain. got my car ALL muddy (too bad my pics didnt develope! DARN THAT DISPOSABLE CAMERA!!!!!
) but yeh... my engine got all muddy as usual, no biggy. but i was thinkin about it, and i was wondering if i plow thru mud puddles like that, and my engine gets all muddy.... wat if i plow thru plain water puddles, my engine gets wet too like how i have mud on my engine? also... if water gets up there... wat about my k&n? will it get wet?.... and wet enuf to hydro locK? hm....
just a thought. maybe i shouldnt plow thru water puddles? but its sOOOOO fun to see a wave come over ur window!!! heheh

I have a stock air intake and I took it apart. I found caked on mud inside the air box, tubes, all the way up to the efi port. Check this out to make your own snorkel-
