Mounting driving lights on stock front bumper---advice needed
#21
Yea... air flow is not a problem. There is more room than it looks, and the lights are round (duh), so air moves around them pretty well. Plus, I have a tranny cooler located between the liscense plate and the passenger side fog light, so there is plenty of cooling going on. I've got a TJM T15 on order, so once that gets here, I'll be removing the 500s again, and the 4000s will sit about 3-4 inches forward of the grille, alowing more air flow back to the radiator.
Think about it thought... how many true trail rigs have you seen that had a grille loaded with winch/lights/hi-lift, etc.? and those crawlers but a huge strain on the tranny and they don't have problems.
I'm not worried about it. And like I said... it'll only be that way for (hopefully) another couple of weeks until my T15 gets here.
