I am running stock gearing right now (4.30)... it seems okay...I'll regear within the year. I like that idea with the PS cooler, I think IM going to do that this week.
Yeah, Im taking the body lift off. Im just really bummed about having to cut the sliders off and re-welding them after Mike (Ahriman) did such an awesome job on them. It will be a good welding project for me though.
The whole point of me taking off the BL was to achieve a lower COG, I feel too topheavy.

Take an angle grinder and cut a wedge out of the bottom of each slider mounting leg. Bend the sliders down to close the gap and weld them back up. Much less work than cutting them off of the frame and re-welding them.

Jim,
That sounds like an awesome idea. I had not thought of that. I would totally do it, however, my sliders are pretty "flat" right now. They would have a really bad negative camber if I bent them any further. It might be worht a shot though. Thanks.
I saw you bidding on those Nittos on ebay. .. I know how you feel

Looks Great
I know its probably a little too early to tell, but can you notice any difference between the BFG M/Ts and the MT/Rs? I know they are different sizes so that will affect it some. I'm running MT/Rs too but everybody else around here has BFG M/Ts, so I was just wondering which one is your favorite on-road/off-road and also which is better in the looks category

Hi,
Do you have any steering wheel shake with those MT/Rs? I had 305 MT/Rs and had alot of steering wheel shake starting at 40 mph. I changed out finally to a 315 and went with the procomp xterrains and have no steering wheel shake any longer. My 4Runner drives so smooth now too. The MT/Rs for me also wore funny because of the wheel shake. I had them balanced using a roadforce machine but it didn't help. I think I got a bad MT/R.
Mine also used alot of weight...

They feel smoother than my bfgs, but, I think they were just out of balance...
Im really happy with them. they seem very smooth on-road. I can't wait to go and test them in the mud/dirt.
Still waiting to get some more pictures. Its just been raining a ton, and I want to get some better lighting.
