Began work on my door this weekend. Had previously posted I was having trouble with my exterior door handle being loose. Even with helpful diagrams Yotatech members provided, the door handle was very difucult to take off and there is little room to work with (feels like working on a Honda).

Found the problem there are two metal retianing nuts inplanted/molded into the handle itself....for some reason the plastic around these areas holding everything in place had cracked on both sides. I wish I had a dig cam so I could post.

Partially remedied situation by Epoxying area for reinforcement and temporarily putin the handle back (so cab won't full with rain).

Need to order new handleand would like it to be prepainted.....any good places to go????


Want this to be the last time I have to deal with this problem, dince handle removal is a real pain.
