Those are Cibie Airport model fogs. I just noticed that the lenses are upside down though! Doh!
The signals are factory Toyota signals.
It looks like I may have part of the fog harness on the truck already. There is a plug hanging in the corner right near where the factory fog would have been. I wonder if I will be able to use that? Hmmmmm.
I will post (try to anyway) a shot of the bumper on the truck tomorrow.

How long did all that take you? Did you use conventional tools? Or did you need to use more hardcore items?

I know that my 2000 came prewired for fog lights. If I wanted them all I had to do was pop out the panel and hook them up to the plug that was already there. You should be able to use this depending on the level of control that you want. The factory fogs automatically come on with the low beams and turn off with the high beams.

The group buy on TJM bumpers is only good 'til March 1st. Check this thread.

It took me a long time to make templates and find lights that I liked, that fit.
It took the fabrication shop one day to make it. Yeah, I paid.
I wanted a bolt-in panel but it just wouldn't work so we ended up deciding on a weld-in panel. I was worried about putting the fogs too close to the bumperettes but I think that this setup will work OK.
It is slightly recessed but it does not show in that single picture.
I will take some angled shots tomorrow and make an attempt to post them.

I will put mine on a factory switch in one of the blanks in my dash. On with the low beams huh? I thought that there might be a switch built into the light/high-beam stalk or something.

Thanks for the scoop.

By the way.....
My 4Runner did not droop at all, not even a 1/16" when the TJM was installed on the stock suspension. What's up with that? I expected (sort of) to see a little lowering from the extra weight even though I do not have a winch in there. Hmmmm.

it will take time (about a month) for your coils to sag.

do you have a pic?

Edit: Bama, looks like the design is not going to work as nicely as the stock bumper. But thanks for the offer.

BOB:

There is a guy here in Auburn that has a T-17 for sale for like $200. It was scuffed in an accident and the insurance company paid for a replacement bumper. You could get the T-17 and the brush guard shipped to your door for about $350...

Let me know if you want me to check on the bumper...

Good luck trying to get in touch with that guy who has the t17 I tried b/f i bought my bumper and he would not reply to me. I like the intergrated lights that you did. Reminds me of the ARB safari bar (i think thats the name of it). Looks nice!

Looks great goldtaco. What posessed you to do this? Dreams of a more compact Sahara bar without all the bling bling?
