My passenger side window was broke a few days ago. The mirror is broken and there is no damage to casing. i was lookin on the web and all i could find was the houseing plus the mirror for sale? where can i find a replacement for the mirror part and how much would that cost? And also i have no clue if would be able to replace just the mirror part? any help would be appreciated!

Whole thing

Same thing happened to me. You can only replace the whole thing. Try www.carpart.com for a used one, and eBay sometimes has them. What year and color is it by the way?

Try a plate glass company. A place that replaces windows and the like. They came out with a big catalog and checked my driver side window and had the part in two days; installed and everything for $20 bucks.

I was very pleased with my dealings with rockauto.com - cheapest price I found, and exact replacement

Tough luck if you are a 3rd Gen owner I guess. 2nd Gen, you can replace just the glass. Go to your local Toyota dealer or PM TOR for a price. Easy replacement too if memory serves - I did mine about 6 years ago after breaking it with my ice scraper after an ice storm.

The 2nd gens are easy. Just get a phillips screw driver and under neith are 1 or 2 screws to remove it. Prolly $5 at a yard.
