Feels good to have something of your own, huh? Boy, I wish I knew the feeling. I think I am pretty close to paying back the parents for mine. I can't wait. Congrats on owning your own! Way to go! Now the money really flows for mods... :fireman:

To heck with payments I paid cash for my Runner. I was saving on a huge downpayment on a Tacoma when I got back to the states but couldn't wait any longer so I got the Runner and boy am I glad I did!!

Congratulations! That must be a great feeling!

I won't be at that point with my 4Runner until about 2004.

I am with you UKMyers,
I have never made a payment for a car....never had a brand new car either
Uhhh...not the point though. At least for me it was the interest over the years and carrying additional insurance because the bank wants it covered. Combine those and sometimes you could have paid off your truck:pat:

Now that it is officially yours (title in hand), you can mod it however you like.

This was the first time I have ever bought a vehicle on a loan, my other 5 were all saved for and bought outright.

I had thought at one point of trading it in on a new 4Runner and a bigger payment but I love this one too much to get rid of it for a very long time.
