Just bought a 2000 SR5 4wd manual with the e-locker. I drives and looks like brand new. Before I bought it I looked underneath at the protection plate in the front under the engine and there was little to no damage to it. Looked like it had not seen much off road. I was looking at Pathfinders and QX4s. Now when I pull up to them on the road I'm pleased with the choice I made.

Just stumbled on this thread, so I'll throw in my 2 cents.

I have a 96' 4Runner w/174K and the only other trucks on the road that can pull away from me on a steep grade are those 05' Xterras and Frontiers and new tacomas & 4Runners(sweet). I could only imagine how much fun all the guys w/3.4 blowers are having!
