As many of you 3G 4R owners know, our Hella Micro DE fogs corrode prematurely fast. Hella suggested this fancy splash guard design that needs to be machined & cost hundreds (according to my mechanic & bodyshop). So I asked my bodyshop to make me an affordable alternative. This mod will not win any beauty contest for sure but it serves its purpose - better than Hella's design if you ask me. All you need is a 1-gal jug, cut it & affix to protect the Micro DE fog lamp. All they needed to drill was one small hole & this protects the fog all around while still providing good ventilation.

You can paint the jugs black too if you want to hide these more.
