He he, I figured he'd read about it since in the past week there have been about 4 sagging 2nd gen posts here, and I mentioned it a few times about the T bars.

Hi richeyma

Thanks for the extra info.

Yes i did paint the front grill. The chrome was peeling off like plastic. So i just sanded it and paint it black. It looks much better now then it. But i did the job pretty fast and did not take the time to sand it down properly. So from close up it's not perfect.

The botom part of the bumper (the dark grey) was rusting....i also repainted that. Got lucky enough to get the exact same color.

I'm pretty happy with the looks of it. The inside of it is like new. Who ever had the truck really took care of it. I'm going to get the rims painted this summer.

I just need to repair my mecanical problems and i'll be a happy camper.

Here's my summer ride...

Unless you're going to enter your 4Runner into a contest, the grille looks pretty darn good. The valance looks nice as well. Mine had the same problem with rusting--from rock chips and such. I ended up replacing the bumper with a TJM bumper.

Welcome to the Forum, and that's an awesome looking truck!

Yeah the 1990-1995 (Second Generation) 4Runners are virtually identical with the exception of the grills and the headlights and pinstripes I think. But other than that the engine is the same, suspension is the same.

Good luck with your 4Runner! They're great trucks

4Runners always come sagging in the back. I put a leveling kit on mine. Looks much better.
