I talked to my dad yesterday and he told me about a golf course where he lives that might be going out of business. In the equipment yard, where they keep the lawn mowers and stuff, they have two 2nd gen 2wd pick-ups. He knows people there and thinks he can get a hold of them for a couple hundred dollars or maybe free if we just offer to tow them off. Punk kids have broken out all the window and they all dirty, but as far as my dad knows they run and don't seem to have too much damange. The trucks were used for hauling grass clippings and other golf course stuff. My dad used to work for the golf course and said that they only used the trucks for a while, because they had some cushmen's donated. The cushmans got better gas mileage so the trucks were parked, and haved moved in a few years. If it turns out that I can get my hands on these trucks, should I? Are there enough compatable parts (2wd to 4wd) to make it worth my time. I'm sure there are people here that are looking for parts off trucks these years. let me know if this sounds like something I should keep looking into, how many parts would be compatable, and if anybody would be interested in parts.

Motor, interior, body parts, and other misc parts are interchangeable.

 

What engines do they have? What kind of mileage on them?
I would think complete engine would be OK, just all the fuel injection stuff too. Rear end housings (gears are prob wrong for a 4x4, wrong wheel bolt pattern). Most body parts, interior parts, instruments, etc
