Just wondering for some odd reason. Is there a difference between the transmissions of a manual 4Runners 3rd gen and a manual tacoma 3rd gen both being V6 3.4 5 speed 4wd....? Not including the Tcases just the transmission.

Thanks for any input I feel pretty dumb right now I can't find anything in the search.

if the taco and the runner both have j-shift or multimode tcases, then yes they are the same tranny
