I was just thinking you were a really old guy.

I flew out on Saturday morning to San Diego and drove back home on my new truck This was really my first time driving an SC Truck/4Runner and boy was it blast passing up full size V8 SUVs and Trucks.
The 8 hour drive went quickly considered I avoided speeding, well most of time.
In summary, I was looking for an 01-03 Taco with all of the listed factory options including a sunroof but I never thought I find one with all the extra mods!

I guess I'm really excited since this thing pretty much has all the mods that I would consider down the road. I'm thinking of an ARB bumper, winch and some Husky liners and call it day.

The stats are on my webpage but I'll throw them here as a quick reference:

Factory Options
Lunar Mist Metallic Paint
Cloth Bucket Seats w/ center console box
Power Package (Windows, locks and mirrors, keyless entry, glove box lamp, cruise control and sliding rear window
Sunroof (yeah baby!!) This is no longer an option on 2004!
High 4 Selector Switch
SR5 Package Tilt wheel, tachometer, twin trip meters, AM.FM/Cass/CD w/4 Speakers, AC, Digital Clock and SR5 badging.
TRD Off-Road Package (16x7 Aluminum Wheels w/26575R16 Goodrich Tires, Off-Road Tuned Shocks, Locking Rear Differential, Rear console and TRD Off-Road badge.

Mods
TRD 2nd Gen Superchager w/boost matching white boost gauge
K&N FIPK2 Intake (This will be up for sale)
Flowmaster Exhaust
LockRight 1611 Front Locker
Kings Adjustable CoilOvers
Bilstein 5100 Rear shocks
Manual Hub Conversion with Warn Hubs
4WheelParts 2" Body Lift
ProComp X-Terrain Tires 33x12.50R15
American Eagle 589 15x8 Aluminum Wheels
Demello Sliders and Rear lights/CB bar mounted to bed
48" Highlift
Uniden 510 CB
4" FireStik II Antenna
Liner-X Sprayed-On Bedliner
Air down gauge
Billet Grill (Gotta have some Blink Blink!!
Bug Deflector II
Misc stock parts...

Now, a couple questions for the Taco experts:

1) The 4WD shift lever seems tilted too close to the passenger side seat. I suspect that the reason for this is due to the body lift? It shifts fine in and out of 4WD. You can see it in the interior pic.

2) Will a 33x12.5R15 fit in under the bed (stock location)? It's currently mounted in the bed with a bed lock thingie.

3) What sort of MPG are you guys getting, specifically the 3.4 V6 with the SC. I was getting around 280 miles per tank and that was with 33's X-Terrains

4) I also have the sligthly tilted steering wheel and I'll have see the post regarding that..

5) How common is the upside down /\ rear shock configuration? I'm sporting Bilstein 5100.

Overall, I was really impressed with the On-Road ride during the 8 hour drive home and hoping to keep this truck til the paint falls off

Yeah I gotta change my sig :pat:

Thanks in advance!
Who did you buy it from? Just curious who sold there truck?

The X-Terrains are considered an MT tire so what that in mind I think that they quieter than MTR/s that I had on my 4Runner.

My Taco has 32K on it and the tires look a bit torn up. I'll have to look at the receipt of when they were bought but in either case I suspecting that they don't last too long.
