i think he's referring to differential lockers, and not hub lock-outs. (?)
toy man..there are a quite few options for the 7.5" rev rotation diff. 1st comest to mind is the RD90. selectable like an e-locker, only it uses air and not electrics to activate it. full lock at a push of a button.
and there are other auto lockers like lockwrongs & aussies. these automatically lock when there is differentiation in wheelspin. some say they like it while others dont. not sure of their effects on an ADD diff'd setup though...although its recommended that you have manual hub's if youre running a front autolocker.
and at the other end are LSD's like truetrac's. not a locker, but does provide traction aid (brake torquing helps enable the traction).
and at the extreme end of things are spools & welded diffs. definitely not intended for street use due to the 'no steering in 4X' thing. that said, i run with guys fully welded F/R, but they have manual hubs up front, and are definitely not mall crawlers.
i think there's a locker FAQ sticky at the top of this forum (or maybe the offroad tech forum). have a look there..lots more detailed info

ok..referring to hubs. ORS has a kit, runs about $1K. downey also has a kit, but not a full kit like ORS'...about 6-7 bills.
best bet is to do the 'junkyard swap'. more info found on steve's sonoransteel.com site. it uses all tacoma parts: axles, hubs, knuckles. also ask deathcougar..he might have some available

Ah.
Good luck then. Probably should call them hubs when you go into look at shops, since if you say lockers, people will think you are talking about lockers.

well What I want is to lock the diff so its not a worthless opendiff. I was thinking that hubs may do that but after researching they just lock the cvs and I still have the prob of an open diff.
