lights and tires
Thinking of asking for some aux driving lights for Christmas. Deciding between Hella 500's and KC daylighters. Is there such a difference in light output that it justifies the extra cost of the KC's? Also has anybody had any experience with hella 500ff's?
its also time for some new tires. I'm staying at 31's with no lift and my 4runner only has 2wd. I need a well rounded tire as the majority of driving is done on the highway but i do go on many dirt roads with large rocks that i fear will go through my current tires. right now i am looking at the following:
Nitto Terra Grapplers
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...d=007470&ar=75
Yokohama Geolanders
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...d=007470&ar=75
Dunlop Radial Rovers
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...d=007470&ar=70
Anybody have anything to say about any of these tires?

I love my KC slimlites, they look 1st class and they have a 23 year warranty that covers the bulb! Worth the cost in my opinion!
As for tires, I've heard great things of the Nitto's. I personally can't confirm or deny since I have the Revos but what I've seen and heard through this and other websites, I'd say they're pretty ok. I personally love my Revos though, they do great in all kinds conditions and have yet to let me down. They are expensive though, when these wear out I might look more closely at Nittos.

also looking at these, dunlop mud terrains for only 140 shipped to sams

i also like the idea of getting them done at sams because they will balance and rotate them and repair them for the life of the tire and replace them if you opt for some kind of insurance.
