Hey oly884-
I just realized that you are back here in bozeman too. Give me a ring @ (406)581-9378, and we could connect and BS, etc. one of these days...
Billy...if you miss me leave a message...my voicemail says "hey you've reached Anthony, etc."...that is my phone.

Thought you were going with a custom turbo setup? Changed your mind to a supercharger? I want details!!!

Looks fantastic! I like the look of the sliders vs stock RB's. Makes me want to rip mine off tonight. My rig looks so low I hate it. Now you have some room for some alley lights under there. Keep on feeding your addiction. Had a set on my old rig - great cheep mod and used them all the time.
Is that MSU billings your guys are talking? Went to billings last fall for a soccer match vs. MSU and Rocky Monuntian College. Got to spend a day in Red Lodge as well. Best athletic trip I have ever taken. The players did not think 50' at kick off was that fun but the locals said it was a warm day and we won them both?? Hope to go out there for 2 weeks of camp this summer - still sorting out the schedule.
Keep posting the info and photos.

Hey all-
Just took a couple pics that are much better. After I add the last 1"-1.5" of lift, I am going to swap in some 34x11.5's. I know I have seen em, just cant remember where...if anyone knows about these tires, please let me know. Here are a couple shots that are much better...follow the link.
Billy
MSU is in Bozman, just under 3 hrs SE of billings...what are alley lights??
Yeah, back to the TRD blower...still a little ways off...dinero is running very low.

I am settled on adding 315/70R17's...I have 4 33x12.5R17 Pro Comp MT's with less than 1500 miles on them...toss me a price if you are interested. Thanks again...I'll let y'all know how the new lift/tire setup goes.

Billy,
Are still adding an intercooler, and a blower. Aren't you scared of risking the blower when its in?

Richard-
Thanks for confirming the clearance issue. At first I thought they were a little low, but they are just right...stay tuned.
Biff-
I am not too sure what you are talking about..."risking the blower"...explaination please??

no air instake system(i.e. intercooler) is to be installed unless you want to risk hindering the performance of the supercharger. Trust me I tried installing an K&N aircharger and was told to quickly remove it. Just make sure to check with TRD before you do/or spend anything. I lost $300 on my aircharger.

First of all, this is going to be the 4th TRD blower that I have installed. I ran 2 different 3.4L's, and one on my mom's 4.7L sequoia. The only thing I know is that TRD does not reccomend adding an aftermarket intake, as they say it may make the system run too lean. I have had K&N FIPK's (I know, the FIPK issue again
) on both the 4.7L and the 3.4L. The one 3.4L that I tuned the most was a 99' extra cab 4x4. It has well over 100,000 miles on it, pulleys, chip burning / tuning, exhaust, headers, etc, etc...and is pushing about 10.5 lbs of boost. The girl I sold it to has never had a single problem with it.
I think you don't have a complete grasp on what an intercooler does...in a simple definition, it cools the blower which brings back a good amount of lost hp. Run a search to get an in depth explaination if you want. It is actually pretty strange to me that TRD does not make an intercooler. I had an 02' Lighting...blown, intercooled, and tuned to 18+lbs of boost that ran an 11.8 1320 w/ drag radials...all in all, help me to help you.

jgrimball-
I yanked the skid because I am painting out the silver bumper insert (missing on the pic in my avatar). I am also working with stubbs welding (Richard) about getting a full underbody skid made, so it may be off for a few weeks. No need to worry though, she'll be back on the ride asap.

Your right I don't understand what an intercooler does, I just assumed it was an air intake sytem that cools the engine. Well anyways I would love to see how your rig performs with a blower and an intercooler. Thank You very much for educating me, I believe I have an accurate grasp of the intercooler now.

Hey, first of all, my bad for givin ya a little ˟˟˟˟˟. The intercooler is plumbed into the system before the blower to cool the air as it enters the blower...these are called air to air intercoolers. I am going to get one from Procharger (Spearco Intercooler) and find a way to mount it as close as I can to the functional scoop. Superchargers are notorious for running great when fairly cool, but once they heat up, the horsepower dissapates. I'd love to help you get one onto your rig. I bet you would gain 50+ hp (well, not really gain, more like retain). A very easy way to see what one looks like would be to search the net for an under the hood shot of a new Subaru STI...or the Evolution which has an intercooler in its lower valance. Hit me back for any more questions. I am far from an expert in this category. Gadget would be the man to talk to. Good Luck.

I appreciate that, I'm learning as I go.

Wasn't able to return it. I still have it, I'll probably install it on my wifes new runner when we get hers. So I guess its not a total lost.
