Yeh I was too excited to get the new tires on to take pics with the stock ones on.

The tires are BFG A/T KOs and I paid 325 shipped from wheelers offroad including the diff drop.

I went with the revtek cause I was too lazy to figure out what springs to get and I wasnt sure what hardware i would need. Now that I know what all it involves I'd probably do springs because the suspension isnt nearly as complicated as I had first thought. I'll probably still get springs for the back one day.

did you install them yourself? if so, do you worry about torquing them on to the right spec or just as tight as possible?

Is there a reason my left side sits a half inch lower than the right in the front and back? [/B]
When I got my '98 4Runner I noticed it had a small little block wedged in between the 4th and 5th coil on the front left side, I finally took it out last week to see what a difference it would make. The left side sits about 1/4" lower than the right side does now. I thought that maybe the previous owner was a little on the large side and sagged the left side out a bit. So maybe this height difference is normal then?

Wow, I am inspired once again to do the grill mod. I have the gaurd and picture hanging wire. I have had it for a few months now but couldnt get the gaurd to cut right.

I also like the stealth-ish look of the back end.

I tryed to to the gutter guard mod yesterday, I ended up giving up after i could not get it to fit exactally. I also cut my hands a thousand times with that sharp edges( I can barley type at work today ha ha). I think I will get the grill craft grill if I decide i realy want this mod. My truck payment is to expessive to be riding arould with a ragged looking grill. I dont know how every body else gets theirs to look so good.

I was thinking about this. Everyone who has done it has great looking pics of it. I wonder how it looks in person? Does it look like its tied on and not gonna stay? Does it look like it really is supposed to be there? I would hate to have my grill look like something MacGyver put together.

I think it looks great in person. You cant see the wire that holds it on unless you really look for it. Mine too me about 4 hours to do and I used a belt sander to shape it. I had the grill off and would just go from the sander to the grill to see what i needed to sand off to get it to fit right. I can take close-ups if yall want me to.

I forget who asked earlier but I installed the lift and just got every thing pretty much as tight as I could and didnt worry about the torque specs as long as I knew I was about them.

I would love to see close ups of it. I want to see where you put the wire and how the edges of the mesh look. What did you use to initially cut the mesh?

Dude - that is awesome. I look for your truck all the time, but haven't seen it yet. You've definitely got good taste in trucks.

It lowers the differentials so that the angle isn't as harsh. The CVs are designed to be at a certin angle, the further from that they go the more prone to failure. Its just a little peace of mind...

Then we could run the Richlands. Its not that hard but I havent done it in the Runner yet.

Developing a website with mods... never really thought about it. Do you mean like a site with just pics like webshots or like descriptions on how to do them. Its more likley that I would make one with pics and a short description of what they are but you never know.
