We got about a quarter inch here in the foothills of the cascades, about 700 feet ASL.

Pretty stoked for it to start dumping. Hopefully I have my runner by then so I can get up into the hills to do some quality shooting, watching snow fly 5 feet into the air when a round impacts, out to about 300 yards, is fun as hell!

It rained last night in town, and it looks like some of the snow on the hills is gone. I would go up today, but they log during the week. So they might not be to happy if I went up right now. Oh well, just have to wait till saturday!

I haven't seen much snow yet. Well a little in Pullman (Washington State University). But none on the west side of the state.

Going up to Whistler so I'm getting excited to test out the MT/R's in the snow up there

here are some pics from yesterday !

We woke up around 8:00 to go on a trip into the highlands, not far but still a good day trip. To make a long story short, we did not get as far as we had planned, but a great trip it was ! The snow was loose.

Some pics here :

the lot where i park had 1 shovel available for the 20 people who park there to dig out. when i showed up, there was a 5-person line. so i cleared the windows, climbed in, shoved her in reverse (she was already in 4wd from the day before), and rocked a couple times before plowing out.

this guy with a 3 series came up to my window and goes "man, i wish i had 4wd".

We have been getting steady snow here - Northern Japan. Having fun with my Hilux Surf.

Well all of the snow around here is melting, feels like spring around here. We had one the worst and biggest snowfall last year and now its all gone pretty much. Hehe, I love my tripod that I got for christmas, makes such a difference!

Got some more pics to share from today. I tried getting up to Inskip but there was a nasty traffic jam about 1/4 mile away from it Ah well, still had plenty of fun over the weekend.

Went with some friends who like Dodges lol

This was later at night waiting to meet up for dinner at one of the friends' houses. Taken at Paradise Lake but you can't really see the lake.

Really awesome scenery driving up towards Inskip

This was off the side of the road a little ways, if you stepped in the wrong spot you'd sink up to your waist hehe

This winter season is the first time I've been able to go out and do these things, damn glad I bought a Toyota 4x4 and wish I had done it sooner. Can't believe all the fun I've been missing out on.
