Make no mistakes about it, that skidplate is HEAVY ! Those of you hoping to get one shipped will probably pay as much in shipping as for the skidplate.
Special thanks to Mike for taking his time to fab this up, and show me what Ahwatukee was all about.

Hmmm.... I'm thinking a roadtrip would end with better results and less "shipping cost".
Unfortunately, Mike was the one that put the majority of work and effort into the skidplate, so I can't say what he will want for making more. I will say that after last week's sweat-a-thon, he wasn't too keen on doing many more. Of course, slip him a bottle of JD and I bet he'll reconsider.
By the way, official weight of that skid is 45 pounds and requires a floor jack to raise it up to the vehicle (if you are doing the install solo). I also lost ~1" of ground clearance right at the front axle. I'm not very concerned about this, however since I can easily compensate by wheel placement. (of course, don't tell the Finance Minister since she approved a higher lift to correct my new "inadequacy".

Very nice work!
Looks great on the runner. The 1" loss doesn't really matter that much. I'm sure you'd rather set it down on that skid than on the stock one!
If Mike has it in him to make more, I'm interested in payin'

It should be shippable via FedEx ground. I had a Corvette Z06 front 2-cat exhaust H-pipe assembly shipped from Virginia to Canada. It was 72 inches long, 25 inches wide, and weighed 38 pounds.
I'm interested in one of your skid plates, or a CAD design, for my 2003 V6 4x4. The dealership freaks out when they see my stock skid plate at every oil change. No hardcore off-roading, just work at drilling rigs.

I have one blank left, with all that's happening these days, that's all I'm motivated to finish (including sweetening Lefty's.)

Gone. Lance, you have mail in return. Lefty, I'm calling you tomorrow to get your rig over here and make it perfect. No sense in losing an inch (I hear that's what Levitra is for, wouldn't know my old ass self) and not having a perfect skid.

The downey's are working good at the moment.
The coilovers are a life saver since I have soo much weight up front (bumper and winch + additional batt). The rear is another story though. Since I've added the rear bumper and tire carrier, I've had to add a Daystar spacer just to get some height back there. Most definitely the rear downey coil is not strong enough to sustain the additional weight (expected). anyway, I'm looking to switching out the rear coils w/ something beefier so in the meantime I'm stuck w/ this configuration.
