just be glad we dont drive cherokee's with the 4.0, every one of my friends that has one has problems with it over heating if left to idle for awhile... geuss thats what you get when you stuff a motor that big in a engine bay that small.

just went by the auto parts store picked up some grease to do my zerk's and some engine cleaner so i can locate any new leaks along with some alternator cleaning stuff, and my new ARB mounts came today, so the bumper is off which should help me access where the leak could be alot easier...

I got a small leak right above the thermostat to the right of the water pump. There is a small nook located there and that's where it collects. Oh boy I hope its not leaking from the head gasket. Just thought I'd give my 2 cents...

as long as your not losing MPGs or smoking, it shouldnt be a head gasket, i dont know of many if any HG problems with the 3.4L

okay, after checking out my engine cleaning in the dark skills (not very good) i noticed some coolant on top of the fan shroud and then looked closer and noticed that the main hose is all the way flush

here it is on top of the fan shroud

and the fan shroud and hose that i replaced that may be the cause

so when the motor cools down im going to fix that, do you think this could cause it to leak a noticable amount?
