That's an awesome color. I hope my rims turn out that good. I started sanding them down tonight. I had to stop when I couldn't feel my fingers. Its so cold here.

Did you paint the flares to match or is that just the sun hitting the plastic? Rims look good.

I guess you could do it now. And the axle too, since they are all currently off of your rig!!

The color I picked up was metallic charcoal and the paint guy at ABS tried to match it up to the bottom color as close as possible with out mixing a quart of special paint. My front an rear bumper are being custom built by my metal fab friend and hes going to line-x those to match the bottom color also. So hopefully in the end all the chrome will be history and everything will be color matched to the bottom. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Well they are painted!!!! Sorry for the cell pic I didn't have my camera with me. I'm letting them sit in the heated garage at work over the weekend. It 5 below for the high today. I'll get more pic on monday. The color is a perfect match for the bottom color of my 4runner. Can't wait to get the tires mounted when they show up in couple weeks. More pictures to come. Thanks again for the leads on color choice.

Nope, faded flares match the color perfectly .

OP, looking forward to seeing the LC's mounted. Did you go with the 235/85's after all?

I went with 265/75 Hankook AT's soley on availability. I really wanted the 235/85's but they were backordered for a month or more so I went with the 265's and they are still two weeks out. Should have the rims and tires on before i head to the Black Hills in two weekends. Can't wait to see how the handle the snow.

Remember, the tire shop is going to most likely add a few weights to your wheels for balancing purposes, so be sure to have some touch-up paint and masking supplies handy (unless you don't care about silver weights on graphite wheels).

Hard to tell from your cell phone pic, but it looks like you did a nice job. Send me some pics once they're on your rig and maybe I'll put it up in the gallery on my site (if you don't mind of course).

At least if he gets them "static" mounted, he can keep the touch up to a minimum. That's how I've always had my wheels balanced...weights on the inside only.

Im in the frozen tundra of South Dakota. Hankook is a brand of tire at my local shop that the owner is thinking of carrying so he hasn't setup a stock yet so I'm going to be the test I guess. I've read great reviews of the tire and I'm getting them at dealer cost and installed for free so its worth the two week wait.

I talked to the tire guy and he said hes going to use the inside tape weights so hopefully I wont have any outside weights to look at. I've had my last set of tires balanced like that and had great luck.

I will definitely get more pics up when I take some pictures with my camera. I'm letting sit in the heated garage at work for a couple days to set up. It was 16 below yesterday. Brrrrrrrr!

You can use some pics of the rims when I get them taken. I can send you some on and off my vehicle.

Thanks again for all your guys input.

I think you'll be happier with the 265/75 D load rating anyways. The stiff sidewall of these E's are jarring on the potholes.

I have some MT/R's with an E rating, Noticeable diff between D and E ranges.

All in time.
Seeing as your removing the chrome bumpers, would you sell them? If they are free from damage and rust free I'd love to buy them. Let me know !

Cheers
