I can turn it enough to get the radio, lights, etc going but not all the over for her to start. Can I take out the ignition myself easily and run it over to a locksmith or could it be another problem?

 

How's the condition of the key?

 

The one thats on my keychain is an aftermarket one that is getting pretty worn, but my factory key which is in great shape doesn't work either.

 

I had that problem and sprayed just a little WD-40 in the keyhole and it was good after that. Hope it's the same for you.

 

I just went ahead and swapped out ignition lock cylinders, which is an amazingly easy process.

 

I had that problem and cleaned out the ign. cleared it up for a while.
Should have replaced the little fella from the get go. Real easy to get out and put in! save yourself the headache now replace it and dont get stranded
