The tires are working out great for me so far. Tire choice depends entirely on what type of wheling you do, and how much ride quality you want to give up on the street. For my area, mud tires would have been the better off road choice, but I drive 90% on road, so I needed something quieter.

So far they have not let me down, but I have never driven this truck on mud tires, so I cant say how much worse/better they are in different scenerios.

Isn't that just the hotest thing ever. I took my Girlfriend out wheeling and let her drive through some serious mud holes it was great.

If you arent joking, dont get them if you use them offroad. They are great for street posing, but they get trashed as soon as you go through any mud, ice, or rocks. The silver part scratches very easily.

good looking truck man.i've contemplating a similar lift for the wifes 97 runner.its gonna need tires soon so it would be a good time to upgrade.as long as the ride is still pretty good.i can just mention mudhole when we are in it & she freaks so offroad capability doesn't mean much for it.although i keep thinking i may end up with it one day & get her a 4th gen

Some snow pics. Just wanted to test the flex after getting rid of the swaybar, but I couldnt find anything big enough to get a wheel off the ground.

What are you shooting for a camera? The water-crossing pic that Lee posted is awesome.

Future mods come as money allows.
I need lockers, bad, so that comes first. When I do those Ill do 4.88s at the same time. After that, new front bumper, probably a rear at the same time. Not sure what else right now. On board air is going in tomorrow. Ive probably done a few other small mods since the original post, but I cant remember what they are right now.

I shot those pics with a Canon 350D/XT. It gets the job done.

Did a trip a couple weeks ago: More pics and the writeup at http://exploringnh.com/viewtopic.php?t=4 There are a bunch more pics of trips and stuff at that site too.

The new cargo system. Although simple, it works great. It basically doubled my usable storage area.

Cool bridge.
