so those calculations....in 2 years youll save approx. 1200+ by selling the 4runner? what happens if you sell the supercharger and get back a good part of that? then youd only be saving several hundred; is it worth it?
edit: i realize gas savings would be in there too....but honestly man, the more i think about it, if you need to make a thread and youre still considering selling the 4runner, you should keep it. because it doesnt seem like the positives are good enough for you to already have said, you know what, financially this is the right thing to do, end of story. just my .04 now.

Do you really have to buy a new vehicle. If you really want to save money then get a 3 to 4 year old car. You might be able to pay for it in cash with the money left over after paying off the runner.

Scions are poorly built imo... My cousin had an xB and when I swapped out his suspension, his brake line popper out and fluid leaked... I was like wtf and quickly plugged it back on... I think they took some major cost cutting shortcuts on these things... Do clips cost that much to secure the freaking brake hose???
Oh yeah, I am willing to bet the Scion will depreciate alot more in two years than the figure you had.

Loose the Super Charger and all your problems will be solved.
When ever you move from a vehicle that is older and paid off to a new vehicle your going to loose money.
Also if you get in an accident, what would you rather have your kids in? Some tiny little cheap car or a 4Runner.
Our FJ62 sucks alot of gas, but it's alor cheaper to drive then a brand new FJ Crusier.

BTW - the Scion actually has a better crash test rating than the 4Runner.
