JDM Style Vent Shades

Does any member on this forum know where I may purchase some JDM style vent shades, similar to those found on factory Toyota Hilux Surf 185s.

Here is a picture to enlighten your minds

They are rather large, but that's the standard in Japan.

I thought them were called "monsoon" visors or something....

Do you live in a monsoon region?

That didn't really enlighten me at all. I'd just get some regular vent shades and call it good. No need for them awnings hanging off of your windows.

Well I would hope not at all seeing that they are attached to the door. So unless you stick your head out of the window alot, or have issues with walking into doors, you should not have an issue.

Yeah, I'd be more worried about lift those things are creating. You could be airborne at freeway speeds!

I have them and I love them. They're clear and black so you can see through them if needed. They're not big enough to be in the way, create no wind noise that I can notice and let me roll the windows down more for air flow in the rain. Sorry guys, she won't get airborne but I like them anyway.

I think the JDM vent visors look hideious.. but that's just me. I'd go with the weathertech vent visors if I were you!

I do not mind the "huge" look to the vent shade; I am a fan of the way the Japanese style their Surfs; tasteful, unique, and simplistic. A preference of mine.

I am in search of a set, so I hope this post may get the word out.

Thanks for the assistance and opinions, although my opinion is what matters most.

Hey biz, just keep an eye out on eBay seriously. I waited forever and found a set and bought them. Then a week later 2 more sets popped up. I'll dig through my stuff and see if I can find the guy I bought from, PM me on it.
