I have a couple questions about the 99+ 4Runners Interior lights. Are both of the AUTO buttons on the driver side window switch supposed to be lit? also, are there supposed to be lights on the Gear Selector (PRND21)?

 

Only my drivers side light on the auto windows light up (never noticed till now). However, my gear selector lights light up as well.

 

Only the "Auto" on the driver's side is supposed to light up. (Sure would have been easy to make the other one do it to in my opinion!)

As for the Gear Selector light. Yes, it should be lit. Pull the center console covers off and you will see a little light bulb housing on the driver's side of the selector stick under the letters. (black plastic housing).

It takes a tiny bulb.. not a 194 or common one like that.

Had to replace mine also. Easy job.
