I don't think Dave will be supplying WARN synthetic line at $139 if the going rate is $600+. It will probably be a different brand.

I already have the plastic rope, but I would be very interested in getting about 100' of add on line so keep me in mind for that.

ok I found a place that is cheaper then rockstomper. Their price is $134, and they gave maryland creepers 10% off that price for ordering five (so about $120). I will e-mail them tomorrow and see how much more of a discount we can get, since I know we can get more then 5 orders. Also I think I will set up such that we just get a flat discount off thier online prices, and then everyone can just order what they need accordingly.

Oh they offer a free rock protector with the purchase of the rope, and also a warranty that if the winch line ever breaks, just send it back and they will replace it.

Here is their website: clicky

This isn't Warn's brand of rope. It is a different brand, but just as good. Checkout rockstompers website for a complete review and comparison.

Will the price include a locking safety hook similar to this?

uuuummm no ... just the rope, but they can make the rope with a loop in it on one end or both ends, or none.

150' x 5/16" and according to UpNOver's site, this includes "a terminal end, a loop on one end for a hook, and 10 feet of our rock guard".

Thanks!

Rockstomper has a nice chart towards the bottom of the page to help figure out what size synthetic rope goes with the winch you have.

For my XD9000, I could use 5/16" x 125'.

I forgot to ask earlier, will the rope have the metal thimble for a hook and terminal end to attach to our winches? Thanks.

Ahh! Okay... So in theory I couldn't use 150' of line on an M8000. Dang.

sdastg1: Please change my want to 5/16" x 100'.

I kinda' covered this above. If the order comes through UpNOver's site (sdastg1 seemed to indicate that was his new target) then the site says that the lines include "a terminal end, a loop on one end for a hook, and 10 feet of our rock guard".

M8000 here so I"ll need the 5/16 x 100 right? I think...

Does this rope come standard with a heat protector and a sling hook w/ the safety latch?

Thanks!
