Installing Floor Lights
Has anyone ever installed floor lights into a 89-95 pickup or 4 runner? I want there to be light on the floor whenever the door is open... any ideas on how i should wire the lights? what kind of lights to use and where to mount them near the floor?
I am considering somehow hooking up the floor lights to the main cabin light since it comes on when the door is open and that way I could also turn the floor lights on by turning the cab light on when i feel like it.
Any suggestion? Wiring diagrams?

This is know as the footwell lighting mod. Do a search and you'll get alot of results. I bought the APC sidemarker lights that take a 194 wedgebulb for mine. Still sitting on the bench. I need to fab some brackets to make it happen. Finding the time....
