Yeah I wired mine independent of the headlights also. They turn on and off with the ignition if I leave them one. You cant wire them for power all the time or the green light will not go out with the truck off.

Cruizin101, I had 3 Taco owners measure the tow hook mounts and got about 30inches, the only measurement I need now is how far the tow hook mounts are from the front of the bumper. If it all seems that its going to fit, I am going for it.

I dunno if this will help you any but I took it the other day..Ill take some more pics tomarrow and do a measurement. You want a measurement from that front tow bolt to the farthest outward part on the front bumper?
