Nice, don't get me wrong, I think it looks cool but I always thought you would get busted reall fast with white or especially blue blinkers. Mabe the cops don't really care that much. My side markers and tail lights are illegal because they have white reflectors but after more that a year I have had no problems but you don't really notice that unless it is parked in the parking lot and you hit it with your headlights. Anyway, if anyone has gotten busted for not having aber bulbs, please speak up.

In CA, the vehicular code states that you can have white or amber blinkers. What you do NEED to have is amber reflectors in the corners upfront as well as some kind of red reflectors in the corners in the rear. If you notice, the Lexus rear lights are clear/chrome, they have red reflectors in the bumper to keep them legal.

i guess cops in my area just dont care .... they do however trip about taillights, i had the back smoked out and got a ticket for that and no front plate back in august, didnt say anything about my clear corners though.

Wow, theat's interesting that white flashers are leagal in Cali. I wonder if that holds true in Oregon too.
As for the reflectors, I cary red reflective tape so if I ever did get pulled over for my tail lights I couls say "sorry, officer, I have been planing on putting this here reflective tape on over thoes white reflectores. I can do it right now." and mabe get out of a tickett if I ever did get pulled over.

Are they blue or white? If they are blue I would be swap them out. They always pick on the out of state guy.

they are "hiperwhite" which means they light up white but have that slight blue tint.

Are tailight Blackouts illegal in NC? I've seen them on cars and trucks all over town. I hope their not because I've already payed $60, and they should be here any day.

yo bike4miles im DIGGIN the clear tails ... you get pulled for those at all?

Heres a pic of my accord before i got the fix it ticket, looked so tight. The bored chp guy followed me for TEN MILES before he pulled me over when he realised i wasnt gonna commit a traffic violation.

You can see my bike collecton on page 6 of my home page. My main bike is a Ultegra/105 specked cross bike that I put about 3,000 miles on every year but I also have a 22.5 pound hard tail mt. bike. By the way, I think clears would look sweet on your car. My dad freaked and called the cops when I put mine on and they said they were fine as long as I had good red bulbs.

melt, the cops around here would have also written you a ticket for modified exhuast... apparently, there are several laws about modified exhuast... one is a payable fine, and one is a fixit ticket where you have t otake it off and put the stock one back on......

anywyas.... taillight covers are illegal here... many people still have them though... im planning on just painting the yellow of my stock lights with red, so at least the light is red on top, clear in the middle and red on the bottom..... then i wont have t oworry about the cops....

miles, ive considered clear tails, but around here they get you lit up quicker than my smoke outs did. I had a friend who got a ticket after THREE DAYS ... then got another one after he put red reflective tape on em for em bein too dim lol.

jimabena74, funny you say that, the cop mentioned my exhaust, i told him it was under 92 deciples, he goes you got paperwork to prove that, i said no officer, he said well i wont write you up for it but it is illegal.

and painting the yellow red with some transparent will work pretty well, i did this with my old 91 civic and it looked great.

Sounds like he had crapy bulbs. A lot of guys around here got ticketts when they ran clears too for the same reason. The LEDs don't light up the chamber and the bulbs they always come with burn off imediately. I found som sweet bulbs that I have had in the whole time.
