I honestly don't know how much the front bar weights, but I can kick an email to Jeff and ask him.

I don't have any sort of lift installed, its all stock. The only thing I've done is add bilsteins and rear shackles to fix the sagging. I can't put a lift on it until I figure out how to readjust the Jack and the Shovel. As it stands, I have less than 1" clearance to get in the garage! I would like to maybe do a very minimal lift, undecided at the moment.

Corey, I was gonna initially say that my truck is looking alot like yours!! Hope you don't mind Your picture sold me on the fender flares, and Seafar's pic sold me on Badland bumpers I had jeff price me out a full package for front, rear, and sliders, a good deal, but just too much $$$ at once. I want to get his sliders, but might have some fabbed up here locally in Denver.

The bumper can accomodate a winch upfront. Next will be lights and some shackles on the front bumper. I might just have to paint the shackles red!!!

I appreciate all the nice comments!

I just checked the shipping status on my ARB & it says 140lb shipping weight,so I stand corrected. It does weigh less than an ARB.

Rob, one day I will be unloading my rig, or even picking up a 2nd Toy.
I really like white, as this is my 3rd white Toyota I have owned.

My next rig will be a white 1st gen, or a white FJ62 'Cruiser.
The 1st gen would be cheaper in the long run, and that is probably what I would end up getting.

Or course Jeff will get my business to for the front & rear bumpers, and the sliderz.

Yeah, it was kind of almost like looking at my rig when I first opened up your post last night.
You got the setup started the same way I'd do a 1st gen.

The Bushwacker flares on a 1st gen really make them stand out.

It's going to be a dilemma in trying to fit your rig in the garage when you lift it.

His gear is top notch.

I had to take a double take since both of our rigs are white, and have Bushwacker flares, Yakima Load Warrior rack, and a Hi-Lift up on top.
Exactly what I thought at first glance. I asked myself, "why in the he-ll did he take off that nice ARB?!!! But then realized it wasn't yours.

Nice wheels!
I'm still uncertin whether to go with the polished look of the procomp wheels like Keisur, or go with black like yours. I think the black go better with your rig since the badlands are a little more extreme than the TJM. Idono... decisions decisions... either way, your truck is sitt'n pretty!

Looking good.

I too have toyed with the idea of that same rim, or a polished one with the street lock look.
But my old Centerlines are still in pretty good shape.

Corey, I figured I better change something on my rig so that people can tell ours apart! Or, you might have started charging me royalties or somethin

Nice wheels, Rob! Overall a great looking rig. I think that I am going to look for a 1st Gen 4Runner to build up. I really like the idea of the removable top (of course I would have to get a Can-Back) for wheeling on a nice summer day. Great job! Now all you need are the sliders.

hehe, guess its time for you to do laundry!!

My next mods are:
Bumper and roof rack lights
Sliders
2" receiver shackle
2 shackles for the front bumper

Anyone have some ideas of other mods that I should do? I have bils, and my tires are in good shape. Should I do a new torsion bar up front? SAS would be nice, but not sure if that improves the ride or if its strictly an offroad thing....

If you are looking for some decent lamps, check out this thread.

Do you plan on adding a winch to your front bumper?
If so, then I would go with SAW 25 mm T bars.
If you don't add a winch, your stockers may be able to handle the weight of Jeff's tube bumper, not sure.
I have seen them in person at his shop, but I have never lifted one to compare it to my ARB.

SAS?
You don't need it unless you are into hard core rock crawling.
The IFS is fine for fire trails and many off camber trails.
The SAS is best for going slow over rocks where you are getting really twisted up and need to keep all fours planted on the Earth.

And yes, a pair of sliderz will really round out your rig.
You almost got me thinking about selling my rig here and looking for a white 1st gen

Corey,
Thanks for the advice! Sounds like I don't need to do a SAS.... I'm pretty much your weekend warrior that loves to cruise the trails here in colorado

I think I would like to add a winch next year, so maybe I will put the SAW mod on hold till then.

Now you got me wanting to run out and slap on some sliders

Thanks for the link to the lights!

I'm not to be held responsible if you buy a 1st gen!

That is EXACTLY what I need in my garage! The wheels make an huge difference. Especially the black on white.
