Installed Badland Bumpers :)
Jeff at Badland Bumpers is a great guy to work with! I had them shipped to a local 4x4 store, and when I went to pick them up, they were packed nice and tight!! Perfect condition!
I want to also thank seafarinman for answering many questions for me as well (he also has the badland bumpers).
Spent all day yesterday slapping those suckas on. My original bumpers were bent, rusted and just plain ˟˟˟˟ty - felt good tossin those in the dumpster
Left my skid plate with my buddy who helped me put them on, he's gonna clean it up and repaint it.
(pictures are kind of sucky quality, but I'm working on gettin another mod by weeks end so I will take some more pics then)

Rob, sweet ride! I especially like the bumpers... hehe. They look kinda familiar. Anyhow, your welcome. I just like the idea that I have a nice setup that is not something that everyone else can get so easily (a la ARB or TJM for example). Congrats.

Now I have something else to save up for. I have a longer wishlist than paycheck:cry:
Man that bumper looks awesome! and so does that truck. I wanted to keep my original paintjob and look rugged, but when I see a truck as nice as yours, I just want to re-paint mine and make it look that sweet.
now back to the bumper.:
Is that a place for the winch up front? Iam putting a winch on mine, so I need a bumper that takes one.
Now I have something else to save up for. I have a longer wishlist than paycheck:cry:

It looks very awesome with Jeff's stuff on there.
His gear is top notch.
I had to take a double take since both of our rigs are white, and have Bushwacker flares, Yakima Load Warrior rack, and a Hi-Lift up on top.

Just try lifting it when you have the winch installed! The bumper alone is not too bad. You need 2 people one to hold and one to bolt it on. With the winch installed it took like 3 people to get the bumper back on. I believe that they are a lot lighter than the steel TJM and ARB bumpers since they are tubular.

I read the Badlands weigh in at about 130lbs & are made from0.120"DOM steel tubing.I thought they would be lighter than a TJM or ARB just by looking at it.But I have asked on other forums about the ARB weight & have been told the shipping weight is 100lbs.
I have an ARB on the way for my 03 Tacoma & with the RE8000E it will be at around 170lbs.Maybe 130lbs was with the winch?
