Identify OEM Injectors (5vz)

I am in the middle of searching for a new injector for my 99 4runner 5vz engine, and what I thought would be a few minutes searching on google ended up in an hour of confidence shattering confusion. I am having a really hard time identifying fake/knockoff injectors and wanted to ask you guys for any advice identifying them.

I have 1 bad injector and would be willing to purchase a set of 6 rebuild injectors or a single but I can not confidently hit the buy button on anything I have found yet. There is such a gradient of prices for these injectors that i can not clearly find a price break that identifies knock offs vs OEMs (rebuild or not). Really wish that witch hunter sold injectors too, I had my set cleaned by him and it would be nice to be able to ask him to send me 1 that matches the flow rate of my current ones..

Set of 6 $177, seem reasonable and middle of the road price wise compared to everything i have seen but something about it feels off to me -
Amazon Amazon

Set of 1 $45, This would be ideal, 'brand new' - https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-AISAN-2...hBBo:rk:9:pf:0

Set of 1 $124, And straight from toyota - https://www.oemgenuineparts.com/oem-...tor-2320962040

If you're forecasting the rest will go bad, I'd go with the Toyota genuine. But other members have had some luck with aftermarket. Now whether you buy one at a time from someone like the 2nd choice is up to you. First choice is not Toyota/Japanese brand.

Inj are a pain to access. Hence why it can be labor-intensive with opt 2.

Thanks for the insight Mantra,

I ended up going to a pick n pull yard and yanked 3 injectors out of a 2000 4Runner to replace the bad one and have a few backups. At ~$8 a piece for the used/unknown but definitely OEM injector, it was hard to beat. Truck runs like new again, hopefully no other injector issues but if so, I have a few spares. These engines are common enough that I can not imagine it being worth the risk of buying knock off injectors, or paying the stealer ship prices for new ones.

My advice, just get some used ones out of a junk yard! If your so inclined send them off to get them cleaned before you put them in.

Maybe add some injector cleaner for little peace of mind...

Love the salvage yard.

Great update!

I've owned my '01 since new and am quickly approaching 420,000 miles. Original injectors and a bottle or two of Techron per year. What's the typical lifespan of factory injectors?

I believe the injectors in my truck have ~300,000 miles on them. I believe it was an electronic issue with my injector not a mechanical failure. Unfortunately iv never come across any lifespan range for these.

If it makes a difference to anyone, it was my #5 injector that failed.
