I'd like to paint my bumpers black. What's the best way?
So, I have the '99 Millenium Grey Runner, and I'm kind of tired of the chrome. Both my bumpers are sun-washed (not really sure if that would be the correct term), but they have what look like swirls in the color. So me and my brother are looking into painting them anyways, but might as well kill 2 birds with one stone. I'd like to get it Line-X'ed, but heard that's pretty expensive. How much would the front and rear bumper cost to have that done? Or should I just do a textured spray kind like a fake Line-X? I'm fairly new to mods and don't have too much money (I'm only 17)...just gathering ideas from you veterans!

Getting them line-x'ed would probably be around $200, not worth it at all. You'd have to sandblast them before that could be done as well. My suggestion would be to take them off, sand them down till they aren't shiny or smooth, then clean really really well, then primer, then shoot them with whichever black you want. Don't use a really gritty sand paper though maybe a 200 grit or so
But, if you have access to a sandblaster, clean em with that then primer and paint
