You could probably top coat it with something for UV protection. I top coated my bumper with a SEM Chip Guard in satin black. Its a special rocker panel paint. The base coat was Duplicolor truck bed spray. The first pic was taken 5.5 years after painting.

I don't understand the thinking that having a nut sack under your truck is cool and the image you'd want to portray of yourself.

Ok,maybe a set of brass ones would be ok............but flesh colored.

hang em from the rear view!, so when you try to look backwards there is always some fleshy nutz at chin level for ya

but really .. take em off and hang them under your gf/wife/spouse's car w/o them knowing..

or someone you hate.

the liner is ok on the bumpers .
for the grill.
duplicolor makes a metallic textured spray for sliders and other non-slip applications.
and it wont look like it does

NOT TRYING TO HIJACK

hey goat, where did you get that chip guard ? whats it used for normally, where do you get some? rolled on or sprayed on?
cause i was gonna herculine from the body line down. but i like the smaller look of the texture here.

It comes in rattle cans, a little bigger than normal. I found it at an auto paint supply store, you know a place that sells all kinds of paints just for vehicles (mainly to professionals but also whoever walks in). Most of that texture was from the base coat of Duplicolor truck bed spray. You can get the same kind of texture from those textured paints at Lowes or Home Depot, I used that on my sliders and rear bumper followed by a top coat of regular gloss black.

So far pretty good, I actually painted that in 2002 (I just found my original post about it) but its been garaged most of the time. I did wax it once or twice but it takes a lot of rubbing to get it all off LOL.

Personally I would have left have left the emblem chrome and maybe done the grill in a matte metallic gray but otherwise not bad.
I must agree with most others about the nutz thing but it's your truck and if you like 'im keep 'im [if I were to consider them I would have chosen a more firm youthful pair rather then the "middle age" saggy ones, but to each his own. LOL]
