I'll have to try Craigslist first... at least it's free if they sell.

- did i mention all of the above were gold? haha

oh, why do i love it? because it's freaking hawt!
even as stock as it is... oh and the rear locker is great =)

Rampart Range, Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, CO

next...
- low pro sliders
- Toyota front mudflaps at the same time
- paint the rear license plate surround
- tacoma whip 'tenna - yes, i'm still sporting the gold trim ring on the antenna because of this...
- i'm actually debating on the front sport grill *shrug*

eventually... tundra/OME lift along with 275/75's... maybe even 315's :o

So, what do you think of my shaved arse and ideas?
I like it alot...

Reminds me of mine, back in the old days, before my wife cracked the mirror on a tree.

Very nice clean 4Runner. But, forget all that "low profile stuff". Go straight to the SAS!

yea and once you read his writeup and take a look at steveO's sas, youll want to it...trust me, i know these things. as for your runner....i love it, thats pretty much mine stock<--haha what is this stock you are speaking of? start the mods man! id recomend starting with the smaller stuff:
trd supercharger with urd kit
sas with front rear arb air lockers, 5.29's
throw on some 35s and get rid of ur fenders and wheel well areas
tjm15 with a steve schaefer rear bumper
and maybe some nice jl speakers and a cb radio

then you can move on to shaving more emblems and painting stuff.

did i mention it's going to be towing my racecar on some weekends? haha

2-3" max, enough for 33's. hell 285/75's... swaybar disconnects, sliders...
i'd be set for the MOST i'd be needing to offroad.

don't need the s/c, don't need regearing... 4.30's are fine.. don't need the rest... if i wanted a dedicated 35" offroad beast, i'd look @ a 1st gen

towing, yup, you don't want to get too high or go too big on the tires. Get the Super Charger, I bet it would really help with the towing.

Clean looking rig.

i was joking around by the way...however thats my ideal 3rd gen setup. and its good to hear youve got a solid plan in store. and the supercharger will definately help out on that towing aspect. have fun with it!

nice looking pics, and youre already a yotatecher-you posted pictures!

Nice - we have the same color Runners, and I too had the hideous gold emblems. I painted them all black and they looked great for about 6 months, but now they've chipped and look pretty beat. I've been considering getting rid of all of them but the one you, too have kept (the rear center toyota symbol), and it's nice to see it already done - looks great!

Try posting the running boards on e-bay--I sold mine for $200 plus $75 for shipping. I ended the auction early and found out someone else wanted to give me $300 for them.
