Hi Gang,

Anyone know how to tighten the COWL TOP PANEL on my '88 4Runner. It is loose on the passenger's side and I'm not sure how to get into it. I looked from under the hood, inside the wheel well, and from under the dash...cannot figure it out.

I am guessing you access it from under the hood, but I didn't want to tear it apart until I knew for sure.

Isn't anyone familiar with this?

I'm referring to the panel between the hood and the windshield, where the vent holes are and the wiper blades 'grow' out of.

I'm sure someone has messed around with this during a mod or rebuild!?! Mine is loose and vibrating on the passender's side. I stuck a piece of cardboard from a fishing lure package in it to stop the vibrating for now , but would like to fix it properly.
