No I was in Fairfax VA near Tysons Corner Center, there were no other spots open and my Toyota is a "compact" truck! Oh well live and learn, the people in the Starbucks didnt find it nearly as amusing as I did

Parking tickets are cheap enough. The most I've ever paid was $24 and that was in San Fran on the 4th of July. Parking garages wanted over $50..I think I got a better deal

I wouldn't classify the Lexus next to you a "compact" car either.

Talking Comapct space?

What the heck is that crap? Compact space? That is such discrimination! Where are the spaces labeled "Big Fat Arse gas guzzler"? Or "Gay SUV"? Or "Mommy w/ Mini-van"? Or "Big Space for Blind Old Geezer"? Or "Too lazy and fat to walk 20 feet"?

Actually, peter goes offroading all the times. The perspective is just abit
screwy

Now don't ya feel the love! Btw, you gotta do that on your 4runner, then we can definitely classify ya as a mall crawler

I'd have to load up another image but yes, one of my tires is in contact with the dirt so I was offroading!

Brian:
Come on out to So Cal and you'll see this everywhere. Parking spaces that say "compact" and full size Fords or H2s taking double spaces. All the rest of us parking in them and doing our best not to ding doors :pat:

Lance:
If this was my 4runner I would have parked as close as possible to some of the double space parkers to make a point

The rear bumper bolt on, tail lamp brush guards, rear lights, and rear mud flaps are a little much for the average mall parking lot creeper. And the plastic wind guards. Did you find every bolt-on or stick-on mod from Performance magazine and buy it? Oh duh.. It's a Pre-runner .. no wonder. Sorry for bashing but your little compact joke was quite exaggerated. Look at all the room next to the Lexus in the second picture. Let me guess, you were at Pep Boys looking for a +10 horsepower TRD sticker? They are located next to the chrome tip +5hp exhaust mod. I see that's next in line after the TRD sticker. The silver door trim would look pretty bad ass too. Just playin Peter.... Are you sure her name isn't "Forest" instead of "Jade"

geez you had me going for a second there... I was thinking "dang, I have no beef with this guy!"

Actually, looking at it now there's a lot of space but at the moment parking normally would have meant hugging the driver side of the Lexus. There was a farmer's market across the parking lot and I was assumming that it was a Soccer mom-mobile and I didn't want to have my poor door bashed in on

You suck CV!
Why bash my poor crippled 2WD?

Great! Your not in denial if your admitting it's a 2wd. That's a good start. Your next move would be to sell it and buy a 4wd...

"too lazy and fat to walk 20 feet" spaces would be good here!! It would save everyone time from waiting in their air conditioned car for a close space to open up.

you're kidding......right?

I've got long-ish hair......maybe if I stuff my shirt with a pillow or something I can park closer to the mall next time (if they ever get those spots here)
