I'm looking at possibly buying the engine with the harness and ecu.
Would it be worth it? I want to find a rolling shell for a 90 - 95 pickup ext cab to put it in later. the engine has 280k.

it would be worth it just to replace the broken parts and have a newer 4runner! or like you said just take the drivetrain and swap it over
you could always take what you need and then part the rest and make some money back
