I have 155K on a 97 3.4 5-speed SR5 4x4. The only repair ever done was a replacement of the rear axle seals.

I've got 162k on my Runner. It runs like new (quiet, no leaks, doesn't burn oil).

For Sale too: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f180/1999-4runner-limited-3-4-scd-auto-elocker-lifted-check-out-109502/

I just spoke yesterday with a guy that had over 300,000 on his 01' Tacoma with the 3.4L. I said 300,000?!! Then without a flinch he said yeah 300,000,I plan on putting a new engine in it when I hit 1 million miles.
He is the internal delivery guy for the Tractor Company I work for.
This made me feel really good about the 3.4Ls and increased my desire to own one. Sorry this wasn't about a runner I just needed to tell this story.

Got 238K on my 96. Just need a new clutch so far. Ran it really hard for a few years, now I stop using it, and it gets mad at me... Gotta start running it hard again. It gets jealous...
