How many miles on your 2.7L?
With all the threads on here for the 3.4 liter engines, I'm curious as to how many miles people have on their 2.7? Apparently, it is suppose to be a more reliable engine at least more maintenance free than the 3.4 (timing belt vs. chain). Anyhow just curious....
I've got 133k on mine and still purring.

Mine's a 95.5 Tacoma with 232K and still going strong. I've had no issues at all with it, and am already looking to take it to 300K. I attribute much of that to having a chain vs. a belt for timing.

My dad has a 98 Tacoma with about 240,000 miles on it. No HG or major repairs done and I'm pretty sure it hasn't even been maintained very well knowing my dad. Surprised that it's lasted so long, but it is a Toyota.
