I go to 260 miles and usually put in about 15.5 gallons at that point. I average right around 17.8 MPG. My TRD stickers have made my power go up, therefore I no longer have to keep my foot to the floor.

I see I'm about average here. I'm going around 275 miles and putting in about 16 gallons. This gives me just over 17 MPG average. Not too bad I think.

No "TRD Off Road" sticker for your Taco until we take it to the old dam off of 7th street after it rains. (Be sure to bring your 20's that day)

I get about 15 mpg with my 3rd gen w/ 3.4 I think it's mainly because of the 265/75's on stock 3.90 gearing.

I hit 300 this morning and the low fuel light had just come on. Thought about playing some gas tank roulette but decided to fill up since it was raining.

300 miles is very good, I often drive 40miles after the light comes on and barely make it to 300 miles on a tank

I get 35-40 MPG. Oh wait...wrong forum, wrong car.

Time to stir the hornets nest...

In the 4Runner, I average 17.8-19.2 in town and 25-27 on the highway.

1987 Toyota Corolla.
Tweaked and tuned for maximum fuel economy.

I miss my '90 Civic. I would get 40-43 MPG going to work and 54-60 MPG on the highway. I had to sell it because I didn't have a 60 mile round trip anymore.

Yes and both are riding on stock size tires but my Runner is sans running boards and hers is a bit heavier with the Limited package plus she has a damn E-locker that she'll NEVER use.

That's great for a V8! How many miles did the sticker(on the window) say you would get per gallon??

I did a little test this past tank, due to crazy gas prices. I kept the rev's under 2k rpm except when on the hwy, where I would drive 70. I did well except for one point when I had to race a dakota for a few blocks. Anyway, I managed 290 miles and put 15.5 gallons in it. That's about as good as I've gotten on that amount of fuel. I do about 40% hwy driving, 60% stop and go on a tank, which lasts me about 5-7 days depending on how many errands I have to run outside school and work.
