Thanks for the site! Everyone keeps calling it 'blue' and I want a fancy name for it 
It's positively not Glacier Metallic though, at least nothing like what's on that site... either Azure Blue Pearl or Horizon Blue Metallic;

The link I posted shows what colors where offered in that year...
Why cause it only invloves 97 & 98 Runners?
No downin people that are proud of the Colors!!
I a thrilled to have the color I have cause toyota only produced it and no other color in a parking lot comes close unless it is another Runner...
We all love are Runners Right!?!

nick-m, your truck is Azure Blue Pearl, I looked at one that color before I bought mine.
.......Horizon Blue Metallic is almost purple in the sunlight and wasn't offered until 1999.
Here's the color sheet from a 1997 (colors are all the same as 1996 except for red):
