you can rent a balljoint press from an auto parts store....don't bother though if you don't have air tools

i do ball joints every day.beat it out with a big ass hammer.you will however need a press (hydraulic) to put new ones in to avoid f ing them up.WHY does a 98 need balljoints already?i"m not clear on how you got it out of the a arm first.you should have got it off the knuckle first.you need to rent a crow foot, pickle fork,or a front end fork whatever you want to call it and do whats natural.Beat that s,o,b out and vent some anger!
