Hitch recommendations

Hi All

Can anyone give me some recommendations on a receiver hitch for my '89 4x4 truck? I am looking at either Class II or Class III receiver hitch. What are the good brands and the brands to avoid? Ease or difficulty of installation?

Thanks in advance.

I had a Hidden Hitch on my 93 Surf and it was great. Without anything in the receiver you could barely see it.

JC Whitney has them for about $100.

Ditto on the Hidden.

Woody:
Should I go with the Hidden Hitch wiring or is it all the same?
What would you suggest?

Too bad you're not in Colorado, I would give it up for dirt cheap

I think the wiring is all pretty much the same. Just make sure you get the correct adapter/coupler for your application.

www.overtons.com is a good source as well.
